Needham Market Responders

Paul Gedney

Paul Gedney

Paul is our Group Paramedic and training officer. He ensures we are all kept up to date in our training and is our link with the NHS Trust. Paul is a very experienced and highly trained Paramedic covering the Suffolk area.

Tim Granville

Tim Granville

Tim joined the Needham Market Responders when it was formed back in November 2004 and loved it so much that he then joined the East Anglian Ambulance Service!  Tim is a qualified ambulance technician and he assists with our training and keeping us fresh and up to date.  We wish Tim good luck with his studying to become a qualified paramedic.

Tracey Cadman

Tracey is another founder member of the group and was our co-ordinator until August 2007.  She has played a very active part in growing the group, running  fund raising events and building awareness of the group in the local area.

Mike Vordran

Mike Vorndran

Mike joined Needham Market Responders back in 2005 and is now our group co-ordinator.   Mike is responsible for keeping our two kits up to date, sorting the rosters, letting us know what's going on, doing the admin and still seems to fit in 26 hours of responding a day!   Mike is also a very active member within St John Ambulance, Stowmarket Division (does he ever sleep?).  His aim now is to get more of the group doing an all-night shift.  Mike drives a green Honda Accord with rain sensing windscreen wipers.

Craig Bickers

Craig Bickers

Craig Joined the group in November 07 and generally covers daytime calls in Needham Market (where he runs his own business).  Craig lives in Gt.Blakenham (4 miles away) and even helps out when he can in the Claydon area.  Craig has recently bought himself a beautiful green amazon parrot called Milo and is training it to complete his responder log sheets on time.  Craig drives a blue Land Rover Discovery with an interesting number plate.

Paul chilvers

Paul Chilvers

Paul joined the group back in March 08 and has been doing doing first aid at his workplace (care home) for many years now.  Paul is a big asset to the group and he is also very good at coming across RTC's when he is not actually meant to be on call.  Paul drives a black Ford Focus complete with fire extinguisher.

Fiona Clarke

Fiona Clarke

Fi is our newest member and passed her initial FPOS training in King's Lynn, Norfolk back in April 08.  She has responded to a few calls now and loves being a community first responder working alongside the ambulance service.  Fi has a friend in the EEAS who has offered to take her out in his FRV.
